Mana in Uttarakhand is officially recognized as ‘the last village of India’. This beautiful place is located just 24 Km away from Indo-China border, making it the last Indian village. Mana, located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, lies on the bank of Saraswati river. If you happen to visit the holy Badrinath, you must checkout this hamlet as its just 5 Km away from the holy pilgrim. You will also notice shops there , with titles like ‘ India’s last tea and coffee corner’ or ‘India’s last shop’ which will surely amuse you.
Not only Mana holds the title of being the last village but this place also holds a huge religious significance for the Hindus. As this place is believed to be related to the time of Mahabharata. Its believed that the Pandavas passed through this place, when they made their final journey to heaven. There is also a stone bridge named ‘ Bheema Pul ‘ believed to be created by Bheema.

Its also famous for woolen garments and materials. Mana, can be easily reached from Rishikesh/ Haridwar. Mana, is only 315 Km from Dehradun and regular Buses ply to this region.
