The interesting fact is that this memorial was built by Britishers to applaud the valour of the Gorkhas in the battle of Kalapani, which took place in the year 1814. Located along the Sahastradhara road, this spot is easily accessible. This memorial surely ignites the spark of patriotism, once you visit here.
